Fantastic views and great flight!

(I know people don't like greekglish so I will ask my question in english)

Why aren't there more big flights in this area during the spring?, where the airmass should be colder and more unstable, so despite the lack of strong heat from the summer sun, strong thermals should be still kicking in (I don't really know what is the flying meteorology in greece)

Certainly in scotland and certain areas in the alps spring seems to be the best time for big flights.

There are some individual flights in the area (4 or 5 pilots). We never use those mountains in competitions.

I think we need a big international event over there so as to begin the majority of the Greek pilots to use the area with no fear.

It is the best mountain chain that we have in Greece and the most spectacular also.

It has to be our flying Mekka but the truth is that, in some places, the crossing is risky with lee sides and landing options very demanding.

Only a few are so courageous and talented !

Even in Greece you cannot find an "Ikaros" on each corner
