Dell Schanze, the controversial businessman known for his unethical business practices and responsible for shutting down the Oregon and San Diego coastline for paragliders, has lost his right to be the United States importer for Sky Paragliders. As Jeff Goin, president of the United States Powered Paragliding Association said, “Sky itself is a fantastic company with great ethics and wanted to make some changes to provide quality, honest, reliable service handled by someone who doesn’t have to fraud customers by making up their own organization or misleading customers.”

This is not the first time that Schanze has lost support from the PPG community. In May of 2012, Simonini USA announced that they are no longer supporting Schanze by refusing to supply motors to Flat Top Paramotors. Read More
