Flying on Imitos

A few days ago I read in the forum about flying on "Imitos".How is it there with the 10NM zone to aerport Spata?

If you want to be healthy for a long time, don't fly there. The radiation from all the antennas at the top is huge.

You are flying IN that zone (8-9nm on the south part of the mountain), but the airport is on the east side of the mountain, and we are talking flying on the west side. You are also NOT in the approach or take off path.

The radio antennas are on the north part of the mountain. I would not fly there.

Hi,

I am new here and don't speak Greek that well... it is already a success i managed to register.

Neverthelss, I work and live in Athens and just came back from vacation in my country home where I had one week full imersion paragliding school with some practising hours. I wish to carry on here by practising and need somebody who is willing to teach me that on saturdays or sundays, starting from April.

I have passed all necessary medical exams and i am fit to paragliding.

We will personally agree upon the fee and modality of practising.

Hope to meet a nice member willing to instruct me
